Purpose: Contemporary briefings, enhanced dialogue, improved collaboration

This conference will convene a global audience of stakeholders from the law enforcement community, government and the maritime cargo industry who have a vested interest in preserving the integrity of the world’s increasingly interconnected – yet persistently vulnerable – maritime cargo supply chains.

Conference objectives are to:

  • provide contemporary insights into widespread criminal infiltration occurring across the world’s maritime cargo supply chains and the associated threats and vulnerabilities;
  • discuss the results of a two-year, WCO led global analysis into organized crime, the booming illicit narcotics market and the role of the internal conspirator;
  • hear from industry partners about proactive measures to combat escalating risks;
  • hear from leading technology providers about container security initiatives and measures to promote secure and resilient trade systems;
  • consider government to business relationships, including where success is most prominent and where improvement may be needed.
